We have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions about parking but if your question is not answered below, feel free to contact us at or telephone our office on (07) 5453 1504 between 8.30am to 5.00pm weekdays.

You have up to 7 minutes to enter and then exit a car park free of charge. 

Motorcycles may park in any parking space in our car parks that is unoccupied unless parking signage indicates otherwise. The same parking rates apply for motorcycles and cars.

A limited amount of bicycle parking is available at the southern end of the terminal. This is provided free of charge. 

Receipts can be obtained at time of payment by following the prompts at the automated payment machines or exit machines.

There are dedicated passenger pick up/drop off spaces at the front of the terminal. Vehicles are only permitted in these areas whilst actively loading or unloading passengers. 

Please note these areas are not waiting zones. For security reasons, you must remain with your vehicle while collecting or dropping off passengers at the front of the Terminal at all times.

Any vehicle left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed. Short Stay parking, located directly opposite the Terminal, is an affordable and very convenient way of dropping off and picking up passengers. 

All car parks have disabled access parking spaces. Please refer to the car park map below. 

Please note you must display a valid Australian Disability Parking Permit when utilising a disabled access space. 

Unauthorised parking in areas designated for people with disabilities is considered a serious offence.

Short Stay is 2.9m, Long Stay is 5.5m and Long Stay Plus is 2.4m.

Upon return to the airport, please proceed to the service phone located to the right of Check-In beside the Sunshine Coast Airport Terminal Office entry door. 

This phone will enable you to speak to an airport team member. Alternatively, you can email our office with details of your booking on
