PREMIUM LONG TERM CAR PARKING FACILITIES now open!
A Premium Long Term Car Park is now on offer at Sunshine Coast Airport as part of our ongoing commitment to provide improved facilities for our guests.
The recently upgraded parking facilities include the installation of weather covers to 166 car parks, located only a short stroll from the terminal.
The Premium parking option is located where 'Long Term Car Park 1' previously was, and is clearly signed 'Premium Long Term'. Refer to the Car Park map to the right to clearly see its location, which is highlighted in light yellow.

**Please note that the long term car park is open from 7.00am each morning until one hour after the last flight departure in the evening. The car park is then locked until the following morning.
CAR PARKING FACILITIES & FEES
Sunshine Coast Airport provides both short and long term car parking facilities for guests to choose from. The car parks are all conveniently located adjacent to the terminal building (see Car Park Plan).
Parking rates commence at $5.00 for up to 2 hours in the Short Term Car Park. For full information on car parking charges please view our rates schedule.
PASSENGER DROP OFF
Passengers and accompanying baggage may be dropped off at the terminal kerbside, however due to Aviation Security requirements vehicles must not be left unattended at any time. Attended vehicles are able to remain in the drop off area for up to two minutes whilst unloading passengers. Any vehicle left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed.You may collect passengers waiting for you at the front of the terminal building but only if all passengers are kerbside and ready to depart with all their baggage. Parking is not permitted outside the terminal at any time.
MEET & GREET
Convenient parking facilities are located directly opposite the terminal in the Short Term Car Park with stays of up to 2 hours for only $5.00. This is a great option to welcome or farewell your friends, family and colleagues at the gate, and enjoy the in-terminal facilities and shopping. Flight arrival and departure times can be checked online before leaving home should you wish to avoid unnecessary waiting.
DISABLED ACCESS AND PARKING
Accessible parking for mobility impaired persons is available in the short and long term car parks. The spaces have been located to ensure easy access to pathways leading to the terminal building.
Should you require assistance from the car park to the terminal please press the call button on the ticket machine located at the boom gate as you enter the car park. Sunshine Coast Airport attendants will be happy to assist you.
Using the Parking Pay Stations
- Our parking pay stations (pictured right) are easy to use. Simply follow the instructions below:
- Push the button located at the boom gate as you enter the car park and take a ticket
- Take this ticket with you
- As you are leaving the terminal insert the ticket in the yellow slot on the parking pay station.
- Pay the amount displayed on the screen:
- For credit card payment insert your card in the yellow slot
- For cash payment:
- Insert coins in the circular slot on the left
- Insert notes in the note slot on the bottom right
- For receipt press the middle button below the display screen
- Remove your ticket and collect any change
- Take your ticket with you to your vehicle and insert at the exit boom gate.
Parking Payment Options
Payment for parking should be made on departure from the terminal and can be made either by cash or credit card:
Cash (accepted only at terminal pay stations):
1. Push the button located at the boom gate as you enter the car park and take a ticket.
2. Take this ticket with you.
3. Pay for your parking at the pay stations located at the front of the terminal building before returning to your vehicle.
Credit card (accepted at terminal pay stations or exit gate):
Accepted credit cards: insert images of Visa and Mastercard
There are two different ways to use your credit card to pay for your parking at Sunshine Coast Airport:
1. Push the button located at the boom gate as you enter the car park and take a ticket.
2. Take this ticket with you.
3. Pay for your parking at the pay stations located at the front of the terminal building
OR
4. Insert your ticket followed by your credit card at the exit boom gate.
Receipts are available for both cash and credit card transactions. No merchant fees are charged on credit card transactions.
Car Park Bookings
Bookings cannot be taken for either the short or long term car parks.
