Sunshine Coast Airport has announced three new strategic appointments to drive the Airport’s growth and expansion plans.

The three appointments will contribute significantly to the roll out of the recently announced Draft Sunshine Coast Airport Master Plan 2040, as well as the introduction of the Airport’s game-changing new runway next year. The three new Heads of Department roles are:

Head of People and Culture – Brett Adams

Mr Adams has led multidisciplinary teams in the people and culture area for over 15 years, with extensive experience in leading the implementation of significant change in organisations across varied sectors including tourism, employment, health and community. Mr Adams joins Sunshine Coast Airport after designing and leading workforce strategy associated with the roll-out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, and prior to that worked with the Sunshine Coast’s premier tourism attraction, Australia Zoo.

Ms Hall has over 18 years’ experience as a lawyer in Australia and the UK. Natasha’s experience ranges across a number of different business structures including top tier law firms, government agencies and corporate entities predominately within the travel and agricultural sectors. She has advised in a variety of legal practice areas across numerous jurisdictions globally. Natasha will be joining the Sunshine Coast Airport team from Sydney, where she was the General Manager of Legal Services at Australian Wool Innovation Ltd and The Woolmark Company (the owner of the iconic Woolmark logo).

Head of Corporate Relations – Ayllie White

Ms White has close to twenty years’ experience working for major transport infrastructure organisations such as VicRoads, Transurban and, most recently, for the Cross Yarra Partnership Project Co. In addition, she has worked on large-scale regional projects for Queensland Health and in the Queensland government sector. Ms White’s roles have been in Australia and overseas (for the City of Edinburgh Council in Scotland), and she brings a wealth of experience working with governments, businesses, media and the community to the Sunshine Coast Airport team.

Welcoming the appointments, Chief Executive Officer of Sunshine Coast Airport, Andrew Brodie, said they were part of a comprehensive recruitment campaign that would bring to the Airport invaluable experience and skills as it manages its visionary expansionary project.

“We are fortunate to have been able to attract such highly-qualified candidates for these pivotal roles,” said Mr Brodie.

“The Sunshine Coast Airport Master Plan 2040 is a bold vision that is aimed at transforming the Airport into one of Australia’s most dynamic regional airports.

“Our new appointees bring with them extensive experience in major infrastructure projects that have involved dealing with governments, business and the community.

“We will complete the recruitment program shortly with three further senior appointments that will equip Sunshine Coast Airport with an outstanding team that will be able to deliver considerable benefits for the Sunshine Coast community and economy.”
