At Sunshine Coast Airport, we recognise our location in the middle of Australia’s authentic and idyllic Sunshine Coast makes us a very real and very welcome choice for some of our neighbouring communities – from as far north as Bundaberg and Gympie, south to north Moreton Bay and west to the ranges.
Our dedication to connecting our community with more flights, more destinations and more opportunity is what drives our ambition. It’s this refreshing attitude and original thinking that has seen us become Australia’s first carbon neutral airport, and is powering us to realise new potential.
With partners that celebrate our abundant natural produce, plans for a rejuvenated terminal and the unlocking of new property precincts, we are expanding the airport in thoughtful and sustainable ways.
Over the coming years, the 500 locals who choose to work with us will grow to more than 1,500 and will be responsible for ensuring the estimated three million passengers who choose to visit, stay and play in our backyard annually, do so safely and seamlessly.
