Sunshine Coast Airport Pty Ltd operates and manages Sunshine Coast Airport, the gateway to the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions, under a 99 year lease from Sunshine Coast Council which commenced in December 2017.
Sunshine Coast Airport is responsible for the safe and secure operation, maintenance, commercial development and strategic planning for the airport.
Sunshine Coast Airport Pty Ltd is a private company ultimately owned by small scale investors through their stake in Australian superannuation funds.

Sunshine Coast Airport – Executive Management Team
Andrew Brodie – Chief Executive Officer
Andrew has 27 years’ experience in the aviation and major-infrastructure sectors, including roles with GPT Group, AMP Limited and Lend Lease. Andrew held senior executive positions at Brisbane Airport Corporation for eight years including as General Manager, Airline and Retail Management.
Brett Adams – Head of People and Culture
Brett has more than 15 years’ experience in the people and culture area, leading the implementation of significant change across sectors including tourism, employment, health and community. He was involved with designing and leading workforce strategy associated with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Steve Grant – General Manager Infrastructure and Planning
Steve has more than 25 years’ experience leading teams in infrastructure planning and delivery, working with airports in both the UK and Australia. He joined Brisbane Airport in 2014 where he successfully delivered more than $150m in terminal expansion projects as well as leading the 2020 BNE Master Plan Program.
Natasha Hall – Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs
Natasha has 18 years’ experience as a lawyer in Australia and the UK across top tier law firms, government agencies and corporate entities predominately within the travel and agricultural sectors. Natasha has advised in a variety of legal practice areas across numerous jurisdictions globally including as the General Manager of Legal Services at Australian Wool Innovation Ltd and the Woolmark Company.
Matthew Whyte – Chief Financial Officer
Matthew is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in finance across professional services firms and public and private businesses. He is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the Airport strategy, in addition to leading the core finance functions of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax, treasury and corporate finance. Matthew most recently worked at a national mining services business as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.
Gareth Williamson – General Manager Aviation Business Development
Gareth has 15 years’ experience in aviation, airline and tourism management, working with airlines from across Asia Pacific. Gareth’s experience includes Airline Development Manager at Christchurch Airport, leading airline partnerships and capacity development, as well as managing air freight development and the airport’s military and Antarctic programme partnerships.
Kate McCreery-Carr – General Manager Operations
Kate is an experienced executive having previously held senior roles at Australian Airlines, Air Niugini and Cairns Airport. Kate’s experience includes overseeing commercial and operational areas, and her role as Chief Operating Officer for Cairns Airport saw her lead all airside, landside and terminal operations, including maintenance and significant capital programs.
Andrew Hay – General Manager Property Development
Andrew is a senior real estate executive with extensive property development experience gained from delivering large-scale complex projects across diverse sectors including residential and commercial, mixed use urban regeneration, infrastructure, hospitality and hotel development. Andrew has held senior leadership positions in blue chip companies such as Lendlease, Stockland Property Group, Queensland Investment Corporation, and Urbis.
Kylie Ezzy – General Manager Corporate Communications
Kylie has more than 20 years’ experience across a range of disciplines including advocacy, marketing and communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations, market research, events management, human resource management and customer service. Kylie has held senior executive positions in both Local and State Government leading diverse teams that have delivered outcomes which engage and influence, underpinned by her understanding of local community, stakeholders and the strategic business context.
