Community and Aviation Forum (CAF)

Sunshine Coast Airport engages with the local community through its Community and Aviation Forum (CAF). The CAF provides the opportunity for discussion on matters relating to:

– Noise and environmental issues
– Existing and proposed airport development and operations
– Activities by other aviation stakeholders

Community and Aviation Forum (CAF)

Membership

The Forum is independently chaired by Ron Brent, who was Australia’s first Aircraft Noise Ombudsman (ANO), having held the position from 2010 to 2017.

The CAF is made up of community members and groups, governments, and other relevant aviation stakeholders, including:
