Luggage & Check-In

Airline check-in desks are located in the departures area of the Sunshine Coast Airport terminal. Opening and closing times for check-in are displayed below. For Airline contact details go to the Airlines and Bookings page.

Qantas

Check-in opens 2 hours prior to departure, and closes 30 minutes prior.

Jetstar

Check-in opens 2 hours prior to departure, and closes 40 minutes prior.

Virgin Australia

Check-in opens 2 hours prior to departure, and closes 30 minutes prior.

Bonza

Airport check-in and baggage drop opens 90 mins prior to departure, and closes 40 minutes prior.

Air New Zealand

Check-in opens 3 hours prior to departure, and closes 60 minutes prior.

Security screening is in operation in accordance with the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 and Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005. We recommend you allow plenty of time for check-in and security screening procedures.

Baggage Allowances

Baggage allowances vary for each airline.  For specific information, please contact your airline directly.

Baggage Trolleys

Baggage trolleys are available free of charge in all car parks, as well as in the terminal.

Lost Property or Misplaced Luggage

For help locating items left in the terminal, please email lostproperty@sunshinecoastairport.com.au

For items left on an aircraft, lost or misplaced luggage, damaged luggage or luggage left on the baggage carousel, please contact your airline directly.

For items lost in taxis, buses or other transport on the way to or from the airport please contact the transport provider.
