Arriving with plenty of time to spare will ensure you have a stress-free and easy journey through Sunshine Coast Airport.

Airline check-in desks are located in the departures area of the Sunshine Coast Airport terminal.

You should allow ample time to check-in and process through security screening and immigration if you are travelling internationally. Unexpected delays can sometimes occur, particularly during peak travel times, so please consider this when planning your trip.

Each airline has different requirements about how early you need to check-in before your flight’s departure time. We recommend you check with your airline to understand their flight check-in requirements, including when to check-in, baggage restrictions, available passenger assistance and whether they offer web/mobile check-in and baggage drop services.

Baggage

Each airline has its own requirements and limits for checked and carry-on baggage, including for sporting equipment. Your baggage allowances are usually provided to you at the time of booking.

Unattended Baggage
Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times while at Sunshine Coast Airport. All items left unattended will be treated as suspicious and reported to the Australian Federal Police. It is important that you pack your own bags and never take items on board an aircraft for someone else.
