Entry and exit for online bookings

On the 17th of September at 3pm Sunshine Coast Airport switched over to a new car park booking platform. How you enter and exit the car park depends on whether you booked on (1) the new platform or (2) the old platform.

(1) If you booked after 3pm on 17th of September, 2025, you will be on the new platform.

(2) If you booked before 3pm on 17th of Sepetember, 2025, you will be on the old platform.

To make it easy to follow, please refer to the entry / exit guides below for each booking scenario.

(1) New Platform

Bookings after 3pm on 17th September

If you booked your parking after 3pm on 17th September 2025, simply scan the QR code that was sent to you in your booking email to enter and exit.

The image below shows your where to scan your QR code.

You can scan the QR code using your phone or a printout of the QR code in your booking email.

From here, it is just a short walk from all of our car parks to the terminal. Once you check in, it is time to relax and get something to eat or drink.

Remember, when you return, exit the car park by scanning the same QR code that you used to enter.

(2) Old Platform

Bookings before 3pm on 17th September

If you have booked your parking before 3pm on 17th September, simply tap or insert the physical card that you booked with to enter and to exit.

The image below shows you where to tap your card.

Just a few things to note: (1) the plastic card needs to be the one that was used to make the online booking; (2) digital cards on your phone will not work with the current equipment; (3) there is no need to push the button and take a ticket.

From here, it is just a short journey from all of our car parks to the terminal. Once you check in, it is time to relax and get something to eat or drink.

Remember, when you return, exit the car park by tapping or inserting the same plastic card that you used to book and to enter the car park.
