Special Assistance
If you have accessibility requirements it is important to advise the airline or travel agent when making your booking, as some airlines have a limited number of staff assigned to assist with passengers.
With enough notice to the airline they can arrange special assistance for you to make your journey as comfortable as possible from the check in counters and to and from the aircraft and through to your baggage collection.

Parking
Accessible parking for people with limited mobility is available in all Sunshine Coast Airport car parks. Parking spaces have been located to ensure easy no step access to pathways leading to the terminal building. Alternatively, there are dedicated passenger pick up/drop off spaces at the front of the terminal.
Accessible parking in car parks
Our Short Term car park, located directly opposite the terminal is a very convenient way of dropping off and picking up passengers. Customers can leave vehicles unattended for their stay. If you require assistance from a carer/friend/family to check-in or to access the departure gate we will provide your Short Term parking at no charge*. To enter the car park take a ticket at the entry barrier and after parking in a marked accessible bay please approach one of our kerbside staff (Wilson Parking) for an exit ticket. Use this ticket for exiting the car park.
Accessible pickup and drop off parking at the front of terminal forecourt
Vehicles are only permitted in on the terminal front forecourt while actively loading or unloading passengers. Please note these areas are not waiting zones and customers should relocate to a public car park if a longer stay is required. For security reasons, you must remain with your vehicle while collecting or dropping off passengers at the front of the Terminal at all times. Unattended vehicles are subject to a fine and may be towed.

Toilets
Toilets for passengers with limited mobility are provided throughout the terminal building. These are located:
• In the check-in area, near the Jetstar check-in desks
• Within the departures lounge near the NewsTravels store, and
• In the arrivals area adjacent to the baggage carousels.
Parents Rooms
Parents rooms are located at both ends of the terminal and each are equipped with a baby change station, toilet facilities, microwave and a nappy disposal unit. They also provide seating for use while feeding.
Hearing Loop
To assist hearing impaired customers, a hearing loop has been installed. This is designed to allow persons fitted with a hearing aid to be able to clearly hear any announcements made through the terminal PA system. For best results the hearing loop has been installed in the departures lounge near the Rip Curl store.
Wheelchair Assistance
If you have pre-booked your flight with wheelchair assistance or require assistance during your flight, please notify the airline staff when checking in. Airline staff at check-in can provide passengers with wheelchairs, a lift into the aircraft (for passengers that may have difficulty using stairs), arrange early boarding, or provide general assistance whilst on-board the aircraft.
Please note if you have not pre booked the assistance that the airline may be limited in the assistance, they are able to offer you for the flight, as there can be a limitation on the amount of assistance per flight.
