Uncover Uluru and be the amongst the first to fly direct from Sunshine Coast.

In what is believed to be a first for Sunshine Coast Airport, locals will get the chance to fly direct to Uluru when Alliance Airlines and Travel Associates join forces to offer a four-day Uluru adventure.

Sunshine Coast Airport Head of Corporate Relations Ayllie White said the Airport is pleased to partner with Travel Associates and Alliance Airlines in promoting this unique Uluru experience.

“Alliance is a great supporter of our region and this unique flight and travel experience not only supports local tourism business, but provides an opportunity for locals to tick Uluru and surrounds off their bucket list,” Ms White said

“Exploring Uluru and uncovering the sights and sounds of this amazing destination is a once in a lifetime experience for many Australians and now Sunshine Coast locals will get the chance to travel direct from their Sunshine Coast doorstep to Uluru without having to travel to Brisbane.”

Travel Associates Sunshine Coast stores Franchise Owner Neil Playford said for more than 20 years the company’s passion for travel had been providing people with unique and interesting travel experiences.

“We are incredibly excited to be organising what we believe will be amongst the first direct flights from Sunshine Coast Airport to Ayres Rock Airport bookable by members of the public,” Mr Playford said.

“The four-day adventure package we’ve put together will include exploring Uluru and its spectacular surroundings – iconic sights in Australia.

“At the magical sounds of silence dinner, you will dine under a million stars and at sunrise you will see the transformation of Uluru and the kaleidoscope of colours as the desert awakens with Uluru and Kata Tjuta as your backdrop.

“We had initially planned only one trip in July however it proved so popular with our clients, we’ve decided to plan another trip in October and we expect it will sell out fast.

“We hope the success of these two charters will provide confidence to operate more departures and destinations in the future”.

The $2350 Uluru Adventure is between 7-10 October 2021 inclusive of flights, accommodation and sightseeing. It is exclusive to Travel Associates Sunshine Coast stores and is subject to terms and conditions.
